About SCL Psychology
Psychological therapy for adults navigating emotional and relational difficulties.
Many people come to therapy feeling unsure, stuck, or uncertain about what they need — only that something isn’t working.
I provide psychological therapy for adults experiencing a range of emotional and relational difficulties. My work is informed by a strong interest in how emotional and relational patterns develop, particularly in the context of close relationships, work stress, and life transitions. I aim to create a space that is steady, respectful, and collaborative, where difficulties can be explored at a manageable pace.
I draw on evidence-based approaches including schema therapy, DBT-informed interventions, and relational frameworks, adapting therapy to the person rather than expecting the person to fit a particular model.
Registered with AHPRA. Services are provided in line with professional and ethical standards.

Treatment Approaches
An integrative, evidence-based approach to psychological therapy.
Therapy focuses on understanding emotional and relational patterns that shape how difficulties are experienced and maintained. The work is collaborative and paced, supporting insight, emotional regulation, and meaningful change over time.
My approach draws on evidence-based models including Schema Therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), alongside other integrative psychological frameworks. Rather than applying a single model, therapy is adapted to the person and their context.

Do you accept NDIS or WorkCover referrals? I accept some NDIS (self- or plan-managed) and WorkCover referrals, subject to approval and availability.
What are your fees and rebates? Sessions are charged at a private fee. Medicare rebates are available with a valid Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP). Current fees and rebate amounts can be provided prior to booking.
Who do you typically work with? I work primarily with adolescents (16+) and adults, particularly around relational, interpersonal, and emotional difficulties. I also work extensively with men, including those who may not have engaged in therapy before.
Do you work with couples? Yes, I work with couples, with a focus on relational patterns, communication difficulties, and recurring conflict. My approach aims to help both partners develop a clearer understanding of each other’s emotional experiences, while building more effective ways of communicating, repairing, and navigating challenges within the relationship.
