———  INDIVIDUAL THERAPY

For when something
isn't quite working.

One-to-one psychological therapy for adults in Newtown, Sydney — or online, across Australia.

———  WHO IT'S FOR

Common reasons
people
 come in.

People come to therapy for many different reasons. Sometimes there's a specific concern — a relationship breaking down, a period of low mood, the long shadow of something difficult. Other times, things feel harder than they should and the reasons aren't obvious. Both are valid starting points.

What people I work with tend to share is a sense that the same patterns keep showing up — and a wish to understand and shift them.

"Therapy adapted to the person, rather than asking the person to fit a particular model."

———  AREAS OF FOCUS

Where the work
often centres.

01

Trauma & Complex Trauma

Considered, paced trauma work — including complex and developmental presentations. Schema Therapy and DBT-informed approaches.

02

Low Mood & Anxiety

Persistent emotional distress that interferes with day-to-day life. Looking beyond symptoms to what's keeping the pattern in place.

03

Self-Worth & Identity

Difficulty trusting your own value or a stable sense of self. Often relevant for those revisiting longstanding patterns from earlier life

04

Relationship Patterns

The patterns that repeat across relationships — even when the people change. Avoidance, conflict, closeness that feels unsafe.

05

Workplace Stress & Burnout

Burnout, professional identity, and the impact of workplace dynamics on emotional life and relationships.

06

Therapy for Men

Significant experience working with men — including those who haven't engaged in therapy before. Practical, grounded, non-judgemental.

What sessions
look like.

FORMAT

50 minutes, weekly or fortnightly. In-person in Newtown, or via telehealth across Australia.

EARLY ON

We spend the first one to two sessions getting a sense of what's happening and what you're hoping for.

ONGOING

Therapy is open-ended. Some people come for a few months, others for longer. We review regularly.

Not sure if it's
the
right fit?

An initial enquiry is the easiest way to find out. No pressure to book; we can talk things through first.
